| Youth Ministries |
To enable the congregation to reach out to people in the community with the good news of Jesus Christ and provide need meeting ministries to those in our community in accordance with the church’s vision and mission. The ministries include:
The Strongest Links provides an opportunity for children to explore African American history through an educational, fun-filled, and competitive format.
Christian Youth Leadership Council Teen Ministry (CYLC)
Mobilizes middle & high school youth through fellowship, social events, prayer, and community service projects on a monthly basis. The CYLC meets on the 4th Sunday from 6:30– 8 p.m.
Nursery
Provides nursery care experiences for children ages 3-5, in an environment that stimulates their spiritual development.
Special Events
Provides youth fellowship activities throughout the year (i.e. Jesus Egg Hunt, Fall Festival, Christmas Celebration)
AAKP Summer Camp
The AAKP is designed for kids 6-12. It is a high-energy, kid-oriented performing arts day camp. Music, acting, stage movement and dance are combined with hands-on instruction, plenty of laughter, and just the right amount of hard work to create an awesome week of challenge and growth. |
