Children’s Church
The Children’s Church at SJBC held their first worship service on Sunday, March 21st. Immediately following the Children’s Message in the normal church service, pre-registered children (identified by the wearing of wristbands), are led to their Children’s Church to participate in a worship service tailored just for them. Children hear a Word from the Lord using a variety of creative delivery options for example; sermon, poetry, music, storytelling, puppet shows, drama, dance or multimedia. Each week a different team of volunteers will combine their gifts and talents to create a unique worship experience for our children. (Each volunteer is prescreened and have had background checks.) Each service consists of six parts led by children and by trained adult volunteers: Welcome, Songs of Praise, Theme and Scripture Reading, Offering, Message, Closing Prayer
